Stargazing A to Z. E is for...

Europa.

Europa is the smallest of the four Galilean moons of Jupiter. It is slightly smaller than our Moon but is very exciting from a scientific perspective, especially in Biology terms. It is thought that there could be a vast Ocean underneath the thick ice, potentially harbouring extra terrestrial life.

There is currently a NASA concept mission under study - exciting times ahead!
